TrionStein from FormaTurf is revolutionising sports field construction. The newly developed and patented building element, made from 100% recycled materials from dismantled artificial turf systems, has a variety of applications. The TrionStein, measuring 500 × 250 × 80 mm, is manufactured from FormaTurf Composite material using a patented production process.
In addition, the TrionStein has anti-slip nubs and integrated drainage holes for maximum functionality and safety. These are sealed with a thin layer of material that can be removed if necessary.
In combination with the additionally available clamping strip, the TrionStein can also be used as a clamping system for artificial turf.

TrionStein from FormaTurf was used for the first time as a border slab to mark the boundary of the playing field on the new football pitch in Donauwörth, which was constructed by Polytan GmbH. The entire pitch is surrounded by TrionStein, creating a clean and durable separation between the artificial turf and the adjacent natural grass. At the same time, TrionStein serves as a stable mowing edge and ensures an easy-care and visually clear boundary.
